My buddy Emily tagged me to play a game. You post five things about yourself – 4 are false and 1 is true and YOU pick which is true. Sounds like fun and since I have some extra time on my hands, might as well play! Only, the way I remember it when I played this icebreaker with my students on the first day of every semester, it was called Two Truths and a Lie. I think I’ll play it that way.
1. I got my tongue pierced when I was 16.
2. When I was in junior high, I jumped from a swinging tree rope and landed on the bayou’s bank, breaking my leg in two places. I had to walk on crutches for 10 weeks.
3. When I was around 10 or 11, I got the best pet I ever had, a Burmese python named Pete.
So tell me…which do you think is the lie?
